The good news is that the de-tox juice diet made me lose 2,9 kgs in a week, which is a kick-ass start to the real weight loss regime (this one somewhat less drastic) I start tomorrow.

Other good news is that my sister’s in-laws from Iran/Kurdistan have arrived! They’ve been here one week now, and on Saturday I got to meet them over dinner. They are so sweet! And small! They spoiled me with a lovely gold necklace with a beautiful pendant that I just love. And most importantly Jojo immediately fell in love with them, and naturally they adore her.

The bad news is that my bloody wrist started hurting for the first time in ages, the snow melted, and thanks to the darn above zero temperatures, the ices are melting too 😦

The ugly bit is that there is still no gas for Eastern Europe, Russia withdrew from the agreement with Ukraine over the EU observers today. Sigh. Who knows when this will all end. I wish they instead had the warm front that we’re experiencing – they certainly need it more.

Also, of course the horrors in Gaza continue. I wonder when the Western countries will finally speak up and put the Holy Land in its place. It’s long overdue.
